Text Recognition software

Abby Fine Reader Online
For those interested in word editing of scanned documents or pictures, Abby Fine Reader can help you do that.......
Abby Fine Reader is an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software. There is an online version of this software that does not require downloading. To use this free service, simply sign up and upload you documents. This service will extract say your pdf documents and put the extracted words into a Word document, which you can then download.
Word editing: Compared to other text recognition software that I have used (new-OCR,Free-OCR etc,), this gives the fastest processing time upon uploading of documents. It is also able to recognise non alphabetical languages such as Chinese, Korea.
Language learning: I have also used this software to facilitate my learning of foreign languages because the extracted word can be easily translated using Google Translate. i.e. copy and paste the extracted words into Google Translate table.
Tips: you can even listen to the pronunciation of the foreign language and learn how to speak the words.

UPDATE: I have also just realised that upon signing up, you will only be given 6 pages worth of conversion for free after which you would have to purchase extra pages to convert more pages.
A free alternative would be to use GOOGLE Docs.
